- President Obama met with president elect, Donald Trump for a meeting which went on for 90 minutes. (You may recall that Trump started the birther movement which basically said Obama was born in Kenya...). Despite the bad blood, the meeting went well and afterwards Trump said "Obama is a very good man".
- But many Americans, particularly those in big cities, are still protesting and are finding it difficult to come to terms with the idea that Trump will be the next president
